Sunday’s

G2 Workshops are a continuation of the weeknight meetings, taking an element of the message taught on the previous Wednesday and applying it in workshop format. This may include worship, crafts, quizzes, drama etc.  (attendance on a Wednesday is not necessary) Age groups are 5 - 8’s,  9 - 13’s, and over 14’s.

G2! Sundays held approximately every three months. Services of worship and teaching for all ages, uniting every generation in praise and celebration.

Mount Pleasant provides a supervised crèche for under 4’s with songs and stories, enabling parents to relax and enjoy the service. This group we call Little Lives.

Souled Out

G2 stands for Generation 2000 and is the name for our children and youth work.

G2!

Sundays are special for us. We think of it as the first day of the week, a day set aside to meet together and focus our thoughts on God. This is called worshiping God, when we thank Him, pray to Him, sing to Him and learn about Him from the Bible.

We meet on Sunday morning at 10.30am - 12.00pm.  This is usually led by our pastor Rev Tom McManus. We enjoy singing modern Christian songs (no hymn books, this is the 21st century. Words are projected using a multimedia projector screen).

Singing is led by a worship group playing a variety of musical instruments eg. Keyboard, guitars, flute, drums, trumpet, clarinet etc.

The pastor shares a message from the Bible which is relevant to our everyday life. A crèche is available for babies and children under 4yrs. All other children and young people leave after the singing to go to G2 workshops - rejoining us for the final song before we leave.
